ByteDance’s short video sharing application, TikTok, and its Chinese version, Douyin, topped the global mobile app download list in July, registering the most downloads from the US, according to reports by Sina Finance on Monday.

The United States recorded the largest number of downloads, with 9.7% of the total, followed by Indonesia, accounting for 8.5%. Meanwhile, Facebook came in second place with 53.6 million downloads, followed by Zoom, Instagram, and WhatsApp.
